What if the Church could feed itself and the world?

Engaging churches in agricultural discipleship for food security and improved livelihoods

EFI’s approach offers majority world churches the possibility of becoming financially independent. The conservation agriculture-based trainings equip church leaders to disciple their members to practice fruitful stewardship of their land and resources.

With just a portion of their land, church members can become food secure and financially stable in such a way that the church can support its own pastor and even achieve community outreach goals. For a gift of just $50 a family can have their lives transformed by EFI training.

EFI’s Global Reach

Church-Driven Agricultural Growth

The only option for sustainable ministry in the Global South is to help church members raise themselves out of subsistence living and transform them into Kingdom-focused financial engines, supporting and strengthening the African church.

Smallholder farmers provide up to 80 percent of the food supply in sub-Saharan Africa and Asia, and yet many of these families live below the poverty line. In addition, many of these farmers only grow enough to feed themselves. Raising farmers out of subsistence levels is the only option to transform the economic reality for the church.

"I thank God for this golden opportunity that the Lord has given to us."
